Went here for dinner on Saturday 15th August, during a weekend stay in nearby Burnt Island. We were not disappointed on any level. The restaurant is above a pub, it may not look much from the outside but when you enter the restaurant you are immediately wowed by the views over the water. We were greeted by a friendly, young waitress, who showed us to our seat and took our drinks order. The restaurant is lovely and bright, clean and fresh. With gorgeous decor and little string lights by all the windows. For starters we shared nachos, which were exactly as described and expected. For mains, I ordered the battered haddock and chips, which was lovely. The batter was absolutely perfect. My husband had the burger and chips and was also delighted with his meal. Homemade and cooked to perfection. We didn't have room for dessert! We cannot compliment this restaurant and their staff enough. They were so friendly and helpful, nothing was a hassle for them at all. The food was delicious and well presented, and fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend and can't wait to revisit one day.

Really lucky to find this place, which was about to close at 3pm . We were warmly welcomed and had great service. Food arrived quickly and was very good. As the name suggests, the views over the beach, Firth of Forth and towards Edinburgh were lovely. Would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Lovely view of the sea from the upstairs restaurant area. Great service from the young ladies. Nice music playing while you eat. Fair prices.Good classic pub grub.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Haddock and chips were perfect. Key lime pie was delightfully delicious. Lovely cappuccino too. Really friendly service and everything came really quick too. Beautiful view sitting outside. Well worth my money!Thank you

Today we went for a short walk on the beach and went in for a little lunch with the family we ordered children's sets of fries and fish and chicken everything was really fresh and delicious. If you have the opportunity to be in the area, definitely go there. We were delighted. The prices are also very good

Honestly what a gem of a place with idyllic views and the most wonderful team there!! had such a lovely lunch there with my dogs and daughter!! Food was delicious and the service was second to none. Ao dog friendly, it was lovely to see and feel. So friendly and polite Jane

I’ve just read the previous review with the title ‘Warning’ and find it’s ironically hilarious! I’m 110% sure the reviewer who has slated the restaurant and rated the food etc. a 1 is the previous and recently employment challenged Harbour View ‘Chef’! . My experience, having spent quite some time in the bar and restaurant, and knowing the staff, is food, great, staff, great, atmosphere, when I’m there, great! It can be a bit loud in the bar when a band is on but otherwise, great place!

Stopped here for a coffee and cake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the local beach including the Kinghorn harbour. Lovely clean premises with both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of other snacks and food is available, eg. Jacket potato etc or bottle of wine with lunch.
